Murrells Inlet, SC. (October 2024) — Legacy Village of Murrells Inlet is pleased to announce that Cindy Reinheimer has joined the team as Executive Director. Reinheimer brings with her 40 years of experience in healthcare, 15 of those years as a Senior Living Executive Director.
Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, Reinheimer attended Marion County School of Nursing where she obtained her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Reinheimer worked as a nurse for 25 years before finding her love for senior living. Her move into the senior living industry was influenced by her own experience of caring for a family member that lived with Lewy Body Dementia. Now having served over 15 years as an Executive Director in senior living communities in both North and South Carolina, Reinheimer knows that helping families navigate aging and memory loss is her calling.
Reinheimer states, “I have been blessed to have the opportunity to help seniors enjoy their best life. With love, patience and friendship, I have been able to honor them in the same way I have honored my own parents. The residents truly become an extension of my own family. Most have spent their lives taking care of others and now it’s our turn to make their next season in life the best!” Reinheimer continues, “I am so excited to join the Legacy Village team. From the moment I walked through the door, the attention to detail, superior quality of resident care and the friendly faces made me feel like this is a place that I would want for my loved ones.”
“We are thrilled to have Cindy join the Legacy Village of Murrells Inlet team. Her years of experience, leadership skills and caring personality will make her the perfect fit for serving the residents and family members of Legacy Village,” said Doug Veazey, COO of Legacy Senior Living.
